The Vitamin C + Lactic Firm & Bright Eye Treatment by Dr Dennis Gross is based on natural vitamin C obtained from ascorbic acid. This powerful antioxidant protects and repairs the skin cells and is essential for the production of collagen in the skin. This can improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles as well as skin firmness. Eye care also aims to prevent hyperpigmentation and signs of sun damage, resulting in a more even skin tone. This is where tranexamic acid comes into play, blocking harmful connections with keratin and melanin cells so that dark areas are lightened. Meanwhile, lactic acid (AHA) deactivates free radicals to protect the skin from oxidative stress. Ceramides provide the necessary moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.
