The founders of the Lu&me brand have more than 30 years of experience in the hair cosmetics industry. The idea for Lu&me arose from the desire to contribute to a more sustainable planet, was inspired by the vision of an intact world for Louanne, the founder's daughter. The brand stands for 100% uncompromising transparency, traceability and quality awareness without any “greenwashing”. The natural cosmetics series only uses premium plant and mineral-based active ingredients. All products are manufactured in Austria, with a focus on sustainability, resource conservation and climate neutrality. The Lu&me product range is free from parabens, silicones and microplastics, and is biodegradable. The collection also carries PETA cruelty-free and vegan certifications.
